The mission of the School is to provide excellence in Arabic language education. The Program prepares students of Arabic as a second language to eventually become proficient/almost native speakers in Arabic. Our teachers and tutors are trained to employ the latest pedagogical methods.

Our immersion program is grounded in the proficiency method for teaching Arabic as a second language. Therefore, students learn speaking, listening, writing, and reading Modern Standard Arabic at a comfortable pace. In addition, students learn spoken Lebanese with its multiple shades and accents.

The curriculum also offers a series of Monday evening lectures and Wednesday evening films and documentaries. The lectures and films are aimed at enriching student knowledge of Middle Eastern culture in general and the way of life of Lebanese and Arab societies in particular.

At the end of the each five-week summer session, students receive a certificate of grades. Successful completion of the intensive session grants students 8 semester credits for lectures and 2 semester credits for language lab. In theory all credits are transferrable to any college in the world. In practice, some institutions may require an exit exam before credits are transferred. Our school does not have credit reciprocity with any European, American, or Canadian study abroad programs. The school simply prepares students to effectively speak and understand Arabic without the formalities of formal institutions.
