Report Cards

We will distribute report cards on Monday, December 9. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.

Winter Break

Winter break is on Monday, December 23 through Wednesday, January 1. School resumes on Thursday, January 2. Have a safe and relaxing break and a happy holiday season!

Please note that there are multiple avenues to check for a delayed opening or closing on mornings where there may be a question. Following are some methods you can check if you feel you missed the One Call Now call:

Board Vacancy

The Lebanon Borough Board of Education is seeking an individual to fill a one-year unexpired term on the school board. Please see the following by-laws which outline the qualifications for being a board member and the process of receiving a seat. Interested parties should send a letter of interest and resume to Board President Daniel Elwell. Please mail letters to the Lebanon Borough School, 6 Maple St. Lebanon NJ 08833 or send via e-mail directly to Mr. Elwell or through Board Secretary Tricia Duell.

Cold vs. Flu

Cold and flu season is in full swing. For assistance on identification, prevention, and treatment, please visit the KidsHealth Flu Center for more information.

Signs and symptoms of influenza vs. cold: 

  • Symptom onset: abrupt with influenza vs. gradual with cold
  • Fever: usual with influenza vs. rare with cold
  • Aches: usual with influenza vs. slight with cold
  • Chills: fairly common with influenza vs. uncommon with cold
  • Fatigue, weakness: usual with influenza vs. sometimes with cold
  • Sneezing: sometimes with influenza vs. common with cold
  • Stuffy nose: sometimes with influenza vs. common with cold
  • Sore throat: sometimes with influenza v. common with cold
  • Chest discomfort, cough: common with influenza vs. mild to moderate with cold
  • Headache: common with influenza vs. rare with cold

Seventh Grade Y Memberships

All Hunterdon County seventh graders are eligible for a Full Facility Y membership for one year at no cost. This includes use of fitness centers, Deer Path pool, FitLinxx, open-gym time, and fitness classes at no cost. The membership also allows youth to register for Teen Nights and fee-based programs at a lower rate. Please check out this seventh grade Y membership flyer for registration information.

Our PTA is a wonderful organization that works in conjunction with the school to provide students with enriching opportunities that could not happen without its support. Field trips, assemblies, family events, supplies, and equipment are just a few of the many ways that our PTA supports the children of Lebanon Borough. Please be sure to join the PTA!
