Bully-free zone: The students spent the month of May focusing on trustworthiness. On May 30, the second grade and the preschool class gave us a wonderful performance of the boy who cried wolf. The students and staff showed their school spirit by wearing LBS shirts and the school’s colors. In the afternoon the students enjoyed a BMX assembly. They all appreciated the message on bike safety and anti-bullying along with exciting bike tricks.

Nurse’s News: Once the rain stops and we have sunny weather please remember to wear sunscreen. The sun’s rays are also dangerous on cloudy or overcast skies. Don’t forget to put on a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher on your children before they leave for school.
