In February, we began working on our spring musical, Seussical Kids. The fifth and sixth grades are beginning to learn their lines together as well as learn the songs. We will begin rehearsing in the mornings in the middle of March (details to follow in an email).
Fourth graders will increase their ensemble performance by playing music that contains harmonic parts. They will also focus on dynamic parts as an ensemble.
The third grade has been working on treble clef note identification.
In preschool through second grade, we will focus on the role of the conductor and how to interpret musical cues. This will help them when they perform as ensemble members in Seussical Kids.
